What We Collect

When you create an account and participate in tournaments, we collect the following information:

• Name and email address — used to identify your account and send match notifications.
• Phone number — used to send SMS notifications when your match is ready.
• APA or BCA membership number and skill level — used to determine your handicap and games-per-match under the applicable ruleset.
• Tournament registration and payment records — used to confirm your eligibility and track entry fee payments.
• Match history and scores — used to display brackets and maintain tournament records.

Why We Collect It

All information collected is used solely to administer tournaments — determining player eligibility, computing handicaps, assigning matches, processing payments, and sending match notifications. We do not collect information for any marketing or advertising purpose.

Your Information Is Never Sold

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party under any circumstances. Your data exists only to support your participation in Pool Tournament Manager events.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the application:

• Stripe — processes card payments. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
• Twilio — delivers SMS match notifications to the phone number on your account.
• Email provider — delivers account confirmation emails and match notifications.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data they handle on your behalf.

Data Retention

Tournament results and match history are retained indefinitely so that players and directors can reference past events. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting the tournament director or administrator.
